Enhanced air quality and monitoring in the age of COVID-19

  • We have optimized airflow patterns in our terminal to improve flow and ventilation
  • Air filters installed throughout both terminals are industry-recommended MERV-13 filters
  • We have installed two air quality monitoring systems, one in Terminal 1 and one in Terminal 3, to continually monitor air quality in our terminals

Air quality monitoring data is available to the public via a system designed by Rotek Environmental, a trusted name in air quality monitoring. To view data related to air quality at Toronto Pearson’s terminals, please visit airquality.torontopearson.com for more information.

We are committed to taking all measures necessary to ensure a healthier airport environment. This initiative is part of our Healthy Airport program, which was conceived with the understanding that we have a shared responsibility with public health agencies and the government to be agile, adaptable, innovative and focused in our response to COVID-19.
